The first-ever salon hair treatment to be inspired by aesthetic beauty treatments, it works like what Botox and hyaluronic fillers do for the skin which are to fill up wrinkles and smoothen skin. Similarly, this hair therapy fills up the “holes” in the hair cuticles (tell-tale signs of sustained damage) with long-lasting reparative hair supplements such as micronised amino lipids, natural jojoba and avocado oils, and keratin concentrates to strengthen and reduce breakage. Stubborn frizz is smoothed away with silk protein and ceramide, and hair is saturated with hyaluronic acid for intensive hydration.

While I don’t have coloured hair, I had just come back from a beach holiday in Gili where I spent hours in the sun. I thought my hair was in need of TLC but surprisingly, Eugene who is a walking hair encyclopedia, assured me that it was in very good condition (always invest in good hair products y’all – Kerastase and Goldwell is my magic formula). Chez Vous’ Hair Botox + Fillers treatment consists of:

STEP 1: A hair wash with a purifying shampoo coupled with a snooze-inducing head massage to clean hair and prep it for the treatment.

STEP 2: A blend of potent actives was then applied to hair. It comprises of a thermal-activated Smooth-Control Concentrate to combat frizz and tame unruly hair; Stabilised Keratin to repair damage and resist humidity; and a Pro-Satin Silk Protein to promote smoothness and shine.

STEP 3: Hair was then pampered with a deeply nourishing Hair Booster to saturate it with powerful moisturising and repairing emollients such as an Amino-Oil Complex, Jojoba and Avocado Oils. This step also provides hair with a hydrophobic coating to lock-in benefits, smooth hair and repel humidity for long lasting frizz-control.

STEP 4: Heat was then be applied using a flat-iron to activate the Smooth-Control Concentrate and seal in the actives for manageability, smoothness and shine that last.

STEP 5: A Hyaluronic Acid and Ceramide-rich Injection Masque was applied to deeply hydrated hair to render tresses touchably soft.

STEP 6: Lastly, a high-performance finishing serum containing Hydrolysed Silk was used to seal in and enhance the effect of the treatment; and provide maximum heat protection.

Despite the fact that this treatment took 2.5 hours, time passed quickly for me as I was comfortably set up in my own private booth with a stack of magazines and green tea, happily insta-stalking and catching up on my insta-stories (#bliss). At the end of the programme, my hair was glossy, frizz-free and didn’t lose its bounce. Developed by the Chez Vous team, Chez Vous Trilogy Bespoke Boosters (BB) set is designed to be a customisable, intensive 30-day hair-recovery home-use programme, focussing on treating the hair from deep within. Each set comprises of three 50ml boosters; and each booster is to be used in two to three sessions within 10 days.
