Feet Haven Reflexology

Looking for a little R + R in the Katong / Joo Chiat area? If you are tired after a good meal or a bout of shopping, you might find yourself at this little nook offering foot reflexology and massages.

What to expect:

Stepping into Feet Haven was like stepping into someone’s living room. It was comfortable and almost familiar, and quirky art pieces adorned the walls. It also had an entire bookshelf full of books and magazines.

I was shown to my armchair and the session started with a lovely hot soak for my feet. My therapist was a pleasant Chinese lady who started on my left foot, with a strong firm pressure. She massaged every inch of my foot, always making sure to check if the pressure was fine for me. Time flew and before I knew it, she was done with both feet, and 60 wonderful minutes had passed.

She then showed me to a massage bed at the end of the room and started a 60 minute back and shoulder massage, also masterfully executed.

What would have made the experience even better:

I would have preferred if my massage was a bit more private, and that the bed was not in full view of the whole row of armchairs for foot reflexology. There was another bed that was behind a screen which was occupied by a male customer.

The towel on the massage bed was not changed where the face was, and only had fresh tissue paper. For hygiene reasons, the towel should be changed with every customer.

Duration: 60 min foot and 30 min shoulder

Cost: $58

Verdict: Excellent value for one and a half hours.
