Review of  Mask Royal Flush   

This is the latest offering from innovative spa doyenne, Cynthia Chua. Called the Royal Flush Facials, these facials use botanical stem cells to rejuvenate skin, Growth Factors (GF) for epidermal cell growth and a 24K Nano gold mask. GFs provide great defense and protection again skin degeneration and can resolve a host of skin problems including fine lines, dryness, dull tone and loose skin. All this hi-tech talk is beginning to sound like a sci-fi movie to me and I couldn’t wait for my skin to get pampered by this revolutionary facial treatment!

Treatment process:   

I settled into Mask’s signature facial chair which tilted my body to a 45 degree angle, which is good for circulation. It is also surprisingly comfortable. My therapist started with a soothing aromatherapy acupressure massage before cleansing my face. This was followed by a skin analysis where she diagnosed my skin as “oily T-zone and sensitive”. Right on! She applied an enzyme mask to stimulate my skin’s cell growing process and also did a mild scrub around my eye area as part of the eye treatment. Extraction followed and the rest was a blur as ampoule after ampoule of skin goodness was applied and luxuriously massaged into my skin. I was also given a sleep-inducing shoulder massage. Bliss….The 24K Nano gold mask, to activate blood circulation and neutralize free radicals, was the last treatment and I was almost sorry to get up from my semi-slumber. A warm hot towel was used to wipe off any remainder cream from my back which was a nice touch.

Results:    

Before the facial treatment, my skin was acting up as my period was coming. I had some red bumps on my right cheek and these bumps were noticeably soothed after the facial. My blackheads were also gone and I felt very relaxed after all the pampering massages.
